Fast-track method of accelerated rehabilitation after surgery, also called ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery), is a set ofprotocols aimed to reducing hospitalization time, reduce patient morbidity and increase the effectiveness of surgery. ERAS isan interdisciplinary approach and a lot of studies clearly demonstrate the advantages of these approach for a variety of surgicalprocedures, including radical cystectomy (RC). Nephrotic syndrome is caused by increased permeability of glomerular filtration barrier, which results in heavy proteinuria, hypoproteinemiaand edemas. The most common form in children is idiopathic nephrotic syndrome, which is further classified according to therapeutic responseto corticosteroids. Other immunosupressants (levamisol, cyclophosphamide, cyclosporin A, mycophenolate mofetil) and monoclonalantibodies (rituximab, ofatumumab) are used as steroid sparing agents in the management of complicated cases. Advances in moleculargenetics and understanding of podocyte pathophysiology changed the approach and management of hereditary nephrotic syndrome.

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) can have a profound effect on the course and prognosis of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Fournier's gangrene is a very serious necrotizing fasciitis of external genitals and perianal area. It affects mostly weakened immunosuppressedpatients and patients with comorbidities. As a treatment there is used radical surgical removal of necrosis, treatmentwith broad-spectrum antibiotics, drainage and intensive care. It is important a very fast start. Carcinoma metastases are very rare, accounting for less than 1 % of testicular carcinomas and metastases from clear cell carcinomasare even rarer. In the following, we present a rare case of metastasis from clear cell renal carcinoma to ipsilateral testicleappearing 18 years after transperitoneal nephrectomy.

The authors present the first experience with robot-assisted radical prostatectomy according to carried out the first 50 cases.There were evaluated surgical results, complications, oncologic and functional results. The duration of surgeries was shortenedgradually and blood losses were minimal. Incontinence of urine and other adverse effects occurred minimally. Great majority ofpatients had postoperatively zero PSA level.

Lately ureteroileostomy becomes common solution to dealing with diseases in urinary system. Reason for that is in increasingnumber of patients diagnosed with bladder cancer that is most frequently the indication to stated derivation surgery. Medicaltreatment of patient with ureteroileostomy has its own specifics and it requires specialization it this issue.

One of the possible adverse effect in various drugs is increased sensitivity to sun irradiation. It can manifest as a phototoxic orphotoallergic reaction. Patients using high-risk medication should be educated about photoprotection. Measures of sun protectioninclude avoidance of exposure to the sun during midday, wearing photoprotective clothes and aplication of sunscreens.
