Post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence and treatment options

The most common cause of stress urinary incontinence in men is iatrogenic or trauma-induced sphincter insufficiency. Post-prostatectomy

urinary incontinence has a major impact on the patient’s quality of life. The authors present an overview of the diagnosis and management

options of this condition.
