The rising number of urological procedures and the increasing age and morbidity of urologic patients increase the risk of perioperativebleeding complications. There is no simple recommendation to prevent bleeding. It should be based on the current stateof the patient, who undergo the specific urological procedure. We report a case of an uncommon malignancy of the urinary bladder in a 42-year-old male, removed via transurethral resection.Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor, a neoplasm of uncertain malignant potential, is characterised by spindle myoepithelial cellproliferation and rich lymphocytic infiltrate. Disease occurs in internal organs and soft tissues of any body location. Diagnosticsis based on histologic examination, immunostaing and genetic mapping, which can help to identify typical genetic aberrations. The treatment of choice is complete surgical resection. The overall prognosis is good.
