The immunotherapy based on progress in tumour immunology became a part of intensive research as a novel strategy in cancer treatment. Sipuleucel-T is the first and only medicinal product approved by the regulatory agencies in USA and Europe for the treatment of asymptomatic or minimal symptomatic castrate- refractory prostate cancer. It represents the first product of autollogous cell therapy. This article gives a brief overview about new approaches in the cancer immunotherapy in clinical development.

Vulvovaginal infections are among the most common problems encountered in routine everyday gynaecological practice. Adrenergic nervous system plays main role in both cases pathogenesis. The specific receptors blocking in the target tissues decreases adrenergic control of the smooth muscles localized in prostate and arterial wall. It makes positive effect as in the bladder neck obstruction as the arterial hypertension. Alpha receptors blockers, primary developed for the arterial hypertension treatment, are the first choice medicament therapy of benign prostate hyperplasia at present. Alpha receptors blockers can be used for uncontrolled arterial hypertension therapy in combination with other drugs only, not in monotherapy.

The authors report a case of recurrent macroscopic haematuria in a young man. Ureterorenoscopy showed an exophytic tumour of the renal pelvis; cold biopsy was performed and urothelial papilloma was confirmed histologically. A preserving procedure was indicated which involved laser ablation of a residual benign tumour performed with a flexible ureterorenoscope. The outcome of the management chosen was a clear benefit for the patient including complete preservation of renal function.

In the following article we present a case report dealing with the case initially recognized paratesticular cystadenoma with ovarian stroma of epithelial tumors of group paratesticular tissue. This is the first recorded case in our department. Due to very sporadic occurrence of these tumors certainly deserves publication and is good on the possible occurrence of these rare tumors know.

This case report presents patient with a new diagnosed rectal tumor, which was detected during the urological examination in our office. The patient was reffered to specialists included surgeon, oncologist and gastroenterologist to complete the diagnostics and start treatment. Unfortunately patient‘s performance status and urological complications averted him from curative treatment. We present management of following urological complications – acute incomplete retention of urine, prostate abscess and extensive Fournier‘s gangrene.

In the case of localized disease, radical retropubic prostatectomy (RRP) or robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) are indicated.
