Arterial hypertension and benign prostatic hyperplasia are specific aging men diseases.

Adrenergic nervous system plays main role in both cases pathogenesis. The specific receptors blocking in the target tissues decreases
adrenergic control of the smooth muscles localized in prostate and arterial wall. It makes positive effect as in the bladder neck obstruction
as the arterial hypertension. Alpha receptors blockers, primary developed for the arterial hypertension treatment, are the first
choice medicament therapy of benign prostate hyperplasia at present. Alpha receptors blockers can be used for uncontrolled arterial
hypertension therapy in combination with other drugs only, not in monotherapy.
