Penile block as a regional anesthesiological procedure is easy and time non-consuming method, which brings high level of efficacy and safety. It is useful for polymorbid patients. Penile block does shorten length of hospital stay, allows ambulatory procedures and lowers analgesics consumption postoperatively.

Renal tumors occur accross the age. The age specific differences are described not only on histology type of tumor, but also on epidemiology, ethiology, pathogenesis, biology studies and clinical behavior. These age specific differences are noticed also in the same type of the tumor and have an effect on prognosis and survival of the patients. The remaining question is regarding current treatment guidelines – are these guidelines really suitable for all age groups or not.

Complicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) occur in patients with a structural or functional abnormality in the reproductive or urinary systems and in immunosuppressed patients. A number of risk factors may indicate the presence of a complicated UTI and may aid the physician in choosing the examination and treatment. The prostate needle biopsy has become the procedure of choice for obtaining tissue cores for histopatological investigation in patients with prostate cancer suspicion. In case of negative results, second prostate needle biopsy is indicated. This procedure is not very well perceived by patients as they might feel discomfort. Prostate magnetic resonance spectroscopy imaging brings us new option of prostate cancer detection in patients, where the first biopsy was proved negative. We would like to present our two-year old results having used the MRS mentioned above.
