Urinary tract infections (IMC) rank second in the number of infections, after respiratory infections. The one-time IMC solution is fully within the competence of the general practitioner. If the infection recurs or becomes more complicated, the practitioner will contact a urologist and if he suspects that the patient's immunity is impaired, they also contact an allergist / clinical immunologist who indicates the appropriate immunological examination and ensures its interpretation and suggests or provides appropriate supportive immunomodulatory treatment.
