The urinary tract is the second most often location of infections in the human body. Repeated and inappropriately treatedinfections cause weakening of bladder mucosa, which has relatively restricted means of regeneration. As a result of long-timedamaging of the epithelium, revealing and irritating of nerve endings inside the bladder wall with consequent difficulties occur. Those complaints are best characterised in a hard to catch modality called interstitial cystitis. It is an illness summarised as PainfulBladder Syndrome causing lingering troubles to patients on one hand side, on the other hand putting the physician in a difficultposition in the question of treatment that often does not lead to the desired healing.
