Optimized practices in hand hygiene

Hand hygiene is a basic element in the prevention of the spread of healthcare-associated infections and professional infectionsfor barrier-based nursing, which in the event of their occurrence have a negative impact on both the patient and the healthcarefacility itself. The communication presents the results of monitoring the compliance of hand hygiene at the paramedical staff ofthe Urology Clinic in selected nursing procedures.
