The article presents a summary of studies concerning sexual dysfunction in obese diabetics. There are defined basic terms regarding
sexual dysfunction in men and women. From these studies suggest that obesity of 2nd and 3rd grade and diabetes mellitus
increase the probability of sexual dysfunctions, although the mechanism is often unclear. A significant reduction of weight and
improvement of diabetes caused a lower incidence of sexual dysfunction.
