The goal of the paper is to present a complicated, but successful treatment of patients with metastatic renal cell cancer. The patient
underwent nephrectomy for locally advanced renal cell carcinoma. Biological treatment was given for subsequent lung metastases.
This was complicated by severe adverse events. Their treatment required a long stay on the intensive care unit, dialysis and mechanical
ventilation. Reversal in the treatment of inflammation changed solitary kidney was linked to surgical decapsulation of the solitary kidney.
