Anticholinergic agents are widely used in medicine. In urology, they are the first-choice drugs in the treatment of overactive bladder.
Their high efficacy has been proved in many clinical trials. The main drawback of this treatment is the relatively frequent occurrence of
antimuscarinic side effects. The article mainly deals with the mechanism of origin of these annoying symptoms.
