The prostate needle biopsy has become the procedure of choice for obtaining tissue cores for histopatological investigation in patients
with prostate cancer suspicion. In case of negative results, second prostate needle biopsy is indicated. This procedure is not very well
perceived by patients as they might feel discomfort. Prostate magnetic resonance spectroscopy imaging brings us new option of prostate
cancer detection in patients, where the first biopsy was proved negative. We would like to present our two-year old results having
used the MRS mentioned above.
