The management of locally advanced prostate cancer remains very controversy issue. The incidence of this stage drops due to wide using PSA test and early detection methods. The most common treatment method is radiotherapy with neoadjuvant hormonal blockade, recently radical prostatectomy is performed more and more frequently, especially in low-risk patients. Androgen deprivation therapy is another method of treatment for high risk patients with contraindication for local treatment, with early or deferred initiation.
