SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC PROSTATITIS (CHRONIC PELVIC PAIN SYNDROME)

Chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP ­/ CPPS) is a disease with relatively high prevalence especially in younger patients visiting urology departments. Its cause is usually multifactorial. CP / CPPS presents with urinary difficulties and pelvic pain. The authors summarize their own clinical experience with sexual dysfunction in these patients.
