Hyperparatyreóza patří ke vzácnějším onemocněním, se kterými se urolog v praxi setkává. Diagnostika a léčba těchto stavů má řadu úskalí. Autoři článku předkládají kazuistiku nemocné s hyperparatyreózou, u které byla diagnostika a léčba složitější. Díky dobré mezioborové spolupráci však bylo dosaženo výborného terapeutického efektu. Problematika hyperparatyreózy je diskutována ve světle vlastních zkušeností a současných literárních údajů.
