Ledvinná kolika bývá jednou z nejčastějších diagnóz, pro kterou jsou pacienti odesíláni k vyšetření na urologickou ambulanci. Úkolem urologa je stanovit přesnou diagnózu a provést cílenou léčbu. To znamená přesně určit příčinu koliky s využitím rentgenových a zobrazovacích diagnostických metod. Zlatým standardem je provedení vylučovací urografie. Vhodnou alternativou se zdá být nativní spirální CT břicha, které by mohlo v budoucnu vylučovací urografii nahradit.

HELICAL CT IN ACUTE OBSTRUCTION OF UPPER URINARY TRACT

Renal colic is one of often diagnosis recomended to examination in urology clinic. Is necessary of urologist to assess right diagnosis and to provide optimal therapy. It means to determine the cause of colic with using auxiliary imaging diagnostical methods. Excretory program remains the golden standard. Suitable alternative seems to be helical CT of abdomen, which can replace excretory program in the future.
