Většina chlopní zadní uretry je diagnostikována in utero, což umožňuje včasnou operaci uretrální obstrukce. Primární dysplázie ledvin není po operaci zlepšená, zajistíme ale podmínky pro správný vývoj funkce dolních močových cest a snížíme riziko dalšího poklesu ledvinných funkcí spojené s vysokotlakým močovým měchýřem. Přetrvávající dysfunkce dolních močových cest (valve-bladder syndrom) vyžaduje včasnou diagnózu, odpovídající léčbu a sledování pacientů, abychom zlepšili dlouhodobé výsledky.

Posterior urethral valves in children - diagnosis and management.

Majority of posterior urethral valves are diagnosed in utero, allowing early operation of urethral obstruction. Primary renal dysplasia cannot be improved, but bladder function should be preserved, avoiding decline in renal function conecting with high pressure bladder. Persisting lower urinary tract dysfunction (valve bladder syndrom) necessitates appropriate diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to improve long-term outcomes.
