Prostatodynie/CPPS (chronic pelvic pain syndrome) je stav klinicky podobný bakteriální prostatitidě. Nereaguje na běžnou antibiotickou léčbu. Infekci nelze prokázat, etiologicky je zvažován autoimunitní proces. Součástí je často bolestivý hypertonus svalů dna pánevního.

Prostatodynia - a urologist-s sphere

Prostatodynia/CPPS (chronic pelvic pain syndrome) is a situation similar to bacterial infection of prostate. It does not respond to antibiotic therapy. No infection can be proved. Autoimmune process is considered. Painful hypertone of pelvic floor muscles participates.
