Plastická indurace penisu (morbus Peyronie) je onemocnění, které postihuje muže nejčastěji ve věku od třiceti let výše. S věkem jeho četnost stoupá. Nemocnému způsobuje často značné fyzické i psychické utrpení. Léčba vyžaduje trpělivost pacienta i lékaře, znalosti o limitech účinnosti jednotlivých léčebných metod a umění správné indikace léčby u konkrétního pacienta. Článek je zaměřen zejména na medikamentózní možnosti terapie morbus Peyronie, zmiňuje také možnosti fyzikální a operační léčby.
CURRENT STATE OF THERAPY OF PEYRONIE´S DISEASE
Plastic penile induration (morbus Peyronie) is a disease occurring in men from age of 30 and higher. Its prevalence rises with age. Patients often suffer physically and emotionally. Treatment requires patience both from a physician and a patient, knowledge about limitations of particular therapeutic method and art of proper indications to treat an individual patient. The paper gives attention especially to pharmacotherapy of morbus Peyronie, possibilities of physical and surgical therapy are mentioned as well.
