V textu je stručně shrnuta problematika schistosomózy močového traktu, její diagnostika a terapie. S novými trendy vývoje turistického ruchu (zejména s rostoucí popularitou tzv. primitivní turistiky) patří toto onemocnění k těm, na která by se nemělo zapomínat při stanovování diagnózy u pacientů s anamnézou pobytu v endemických oblastech.

URINARY TRACT SCHISTOSOMOSIS (BILHARZIOSIS)

The text is a brief summary of urinary tract schistosomosis problems, its diagnosis and therapy. With new trends of tourism (especially growing popularity of so called primitive tourism) belongs this disease among those, which shall not be forgotten in diagnostics of patients with the history of stay in endemic areas.
