Pseudotumory ledvin představují nesourodou skupinu onemocnění imitujících zhoubné bujení. Dojem nádorové expanze vytváří tato onemocnění zejména obecnými charakteristikami typickými pro tumor, především nálezy při ultrasonografickém a urografickém vyšetření. Pseudotumor ledviny lze tedy definovat jako nález, který činí diferenciálně diagnostické potíže mezi maligní a benigní lézí a není pravým nádorem. Tento článek má za úkol poskytnout základní informace o typech pseudotumorů ledvin, jejich charakteristikách a eventuální léčbě.

Pseudotumors of the kidney

Pseudotumors of the kidney involve heterogeneous group of the renal diseases which mimicking malignant disease. There are some tumor-like charakteristics in this group; especially sonographic and urographic findings can simulate tumor. Pseudotumor of the kidney means so lesion, which works diferencial diagnostic problems between tumor and a benign entity and is not true a malignant disease. This article includes basic informations of types of renal pseudotumors and its characteristics and therapy.
