Therapy of organ-confined prostate cancer

The article gives a current overview of therapeutic approaches to the organ-confined prostate cancer in connection with the prognosis and postoperative morbidity of the patients after curative therapy. There are described also less frequently used surgical methods (brachytherapy and cryotherapy), which have not been used in the Czech republic so far, mainly due to high initial costs.
